One full month of marathon training down, a little over 2 more to go! I’m happy about where I’m at as far as my fitness level & excited to continue training hard. I’m thankful that I’m still feeling motivated & looking forward to kicking it up a notch in August!
Monday + New Month = Happy Jackie… I love when a new month starts on a Monday… it feels like the perfect fresh start. Ready to kick some serious butt this week (and all month)!
Hartford Marathon – Week 4
Monday [7/25] – 3 easy miles + ab asanas
Tuesday [7/26] – Unplanned Rest Day -> went to go running with Bruin when we woke up but then he started limping all of a sudden. Poor guy seemed so sad & I didn’t want to leave so we snuggled instead 🙂
Wednesday [7/27] – 4 miles + ab asanas
Thursday [7/28] – 7 miles + ab asanas
Friday [7/29] – 6 miles w/ 8 hill sprints
trying to run & take a selfie = fail. I will master this!
Saturday [7/30] – Rest Day!
Sunday [7/31] – 8 miles, was supposed to be 15 miles-> just got back from running & decided to cut it short.. oops! New plan of attack is to go tomorrow night straight from work!
TOTAL MILEAGE = 28 miles
Bruin’s 1st birthday was on Saturday! Can’t believe we’ve already had him for 10 months. Although he drives me crazy sometimes, I can’t imagine my life without him. I love him so much 🙂 I’m excited to start running with him more in the next few weeks.
