New Month, New Goals!
Week 1 of training for the Hartford Marathon starts Monday. I’m super excited 🙂 With that said, I wanted to share my running goals for the month of July in an effort to keep myself motivated & accountable.
- Hit all my training runs. I’m determined to get back in that training grind & state of mind -> No excuses! It’s truly only up to me to get myself to that place.
- Complete all my speed & hill workouts with a smile on my face. They’re only making me a better runner, even if I hate it at that moment!
- Start running some trails -> looking to get into trail running! I’ve been saying this for a while now but have yet to make moves. This is my month.
- Find new routes to run
- Run with Bruin at least 3 days a week. He loves to run but still isn’t the best because he needs more practice… He gets distracted pretty easily.
I believe that I can achieve all of these goals. My only concern is that the weekends this month are jam packed. However, since I know this, I just have to put in extra effort to be successful! Lots of early morning runs to come 🙂
