I can’t believe how quick the last 2 weeks have flown by. My nerves are really starting to set in but I’ve honestly been trying to not really think about the race. I’m still feeling confident about crossing the finish line but know it’s definitely going to be a challenge since I haven’t trained to the best of my ability. This upcoming weekend is the Vermont City Marathon Half Relay so I will feel better about the full marathon after finishing the relay.. if that makes sense. I’m focusing on my mentality and aiming to stay extremely positive & motivated the next 3 weeks.
I decided to cut out my specific weekly workout recaps until my next round of marathon training starts in a few short weeks. I ran mostly 3-6 miles this week. Of course my puppy joined me for some runs! I also focused on developing my at home yoga practice– shout out to my friend Sarah for hooking me up with videos, sequences, and breathing techniques to try out!

This weekend was a lot of fun! We took Bruin out on the boat for his first ride & he loved it! Honestly, I was surprised and didn’t think he would do well but he was awesome. Looking forward to getting him IN the water 🙂 Yesterday I had a bridal shower for one of the sweetest girls that I know, Emily -> so happy for you <3 It was fun to see friends from college that I hadn’t seen in forever and there was the cutest (& delicious) cupcake display. Can’t wait for the wedding!
I seriously love Sunday’s and can’t say it enough… just love getting my life together haha. I was glad that I was able to meal prep today to get ready for the week since it will be a busy one. On this week’s lunch/snack menu is -> turkey burgers & avocado w/ sautéed kale & sweet potatoes, watermelon (duh), cucumbers & carrots, chia bars, hard boiled eggs and nectarines! Gotta give shout out to my girl Alex for hooking me up with a bomb turkey burger recipe!
I hope you all have a great week!
PS -> stay tuned this week for my first giveaway post! I’m really excited!
