Lake Placid 26.2 is in 4 weeks! I’m more excited now because my parents will be joining me for the weekend! Our hotel is sponsoring the marathon which makes bib pickup and race morning so much easier/less stressful. I’m really looking forward to exploring the town on Saturday.
Another low key week of training:
Monday- 5 miles / Yoga for Runners
Wednesday- 6 miles
Thursday- Corporate Cup 5k (race recap to come on Wednesday!)
Friday- 5 miles
Saturday- Rest Day
Sunday- Rest Day
Total = 25 miles
I’m blogging from the road right now… We’re on the way back from New Jersey. We had a wedding this weekend.. it was so much fun! Congrats to my cousin Angelica & her new hubby Jonathan on their marriage! While at home I also got to go to my favorite cupcake shop, Sugarush -> this is the place that sparked my obsession/love for cupcakes! If you’re ever in Red Bank, NJ, I highly suggest checking this place out!

Since I won’t be home until late, I will be meal prepping tomorrow night. I don’t like starting my week off unprepared but sometimes it happens. My nutribullet decided to stop working a few weeks ago so my mom gave me hers and I’m excited to get back on my smoothie game. This means smoothies for breakfast all week plus some hard boiled eggs. Lunch is looking like grilled chicken w/ sautéed spinach & garlic and quinoa. I’m on a watermelon binge still so that’s definitely my go to snack of choice! Even my dog begs for watermelon! I will post a meal prep picture later this week. I get such enjoyment out of meal prepping and seeing all my food ready for the week in a picture… I’m such a nerd.
