Monday Motivation #2

Monday Motivation #2

Motivation to get out of bed at 5am this morning came in the form of a huge spider on my bedroom ceiling. It wasn’t thaaat big, but it was literally right above my head when I opened my eyes & I was freaking out that it was going to descend down onto my face. Not gonna lie, I probably would have reset my alarm if I hadn’t seen it. Although I did wake up at 5, I didn’t do the BBG Week 1-Legs workout like I planned to but I’m still happy that I got out of bed then. I will do it tonight once it cools down outside, I promise!

I used the extra time this morning to fill in all my planners for the week. Yes, I use 3 planners to keep track of my life! IMG_7776The big floral one (Erin Condren -> OBSESSED!) is an every day planner & also includes my scheduled runs. I also use a running journal, which isn’t pictured, to keep track of how much I actually do run. The teal one (Kate Spade) is a food journal -> this one is really important as I continue to transition to a plant-based diet because I need to be sure I’m getting enough protein, etc. so I make it a point to track it daily. I find using a food app is too cumbersome which is why I don’t go that route. The small floral one (Lilly Pulitzer) is my blog post planner! Man, my life would be a mess without them!

I’m a visual person -> I enjoy looking at pictures with pretty fonts & motivating quotes (as you can probably already tell). This morning I took the extra time I had from waking up early to also look up some motivating quotes for to get myself pumped up to have a good Monday & even better week. Here are a few of my favorites today. Enjoy 🙂
